EGT Interactive hires BetVictor veteran to lead sportsbook expansion

EGT Interactive, the iGaming division of Bulgarian gaming machines manufacturer Euro Game Technology, has named BetVictor veteran Gregg Rathbone as its new head of sportsbook.

In his new role Rathbone will lead the supplier’s efforts to develop sportsbook solutions alongside its current range of online slots, table games, card games and jackpot products, as part of a major expansion drive.

The interactive division aims to boost its video slot portfolio as well as significantly expand its product range in what it describes as “an exciting period of expansion” for the business.

“Our land-based games have proved to be extremely popular online,” EGT head of online Todor Zahariev commented. “In addition to our wide range of products which are operated in over 65 countries we are always keen to expand further.”

Rathbone is described as an experienced industry veteran, and as well as working for BetVictor also held roles with Eastern European operators VivaroBet and Favbet.

“Gregg brings over 20 years of experience in sports betting and he will be an important addition for implementing and developing what is a new venture for us,” Zahariev added.
