GameAccount Network becomes GAN in corporate branding overhaul

UK-listed online gaming software supplier GameAccount Network has undergone a corporate rebrand and as of today (September 9th) will be known as GAN.

The company will change its stock market symbol to GAN, with its new-look logo and design schema revealed later today and showcased at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas later this month, at which point its corporate website will migrate to GAN.com.

All of the supplier’s sub-brands such as Simulated Gaming, SENSE3, GameSTACK and iBridge Framework will continue to be supported, the company said.

GameAccount explained that GAN was commonly used as an acronym for GameAccount Network in its core US market, where it has been focused on bringing land-based casinos online since 2011.

This rebrand, it says “reflects the values and commitment of a cutting-edge internet gaming technology company” delivering real-money, free-to-play and casual games to US casino operators.

“GAN has been our adopted acronym in the United States for years. Effective immediately we become GAN as a company and from G2E later this month we will also become GAN.com,” GameAccount chief executive Dermot Smurfit said.

Smurfit believes that the three-letter domain name GAN.com “better-reflects [the supplier’s] corporate identity as a highly specialist B2B internet gaming technology company which is uniquely focused on bringing land-based casinos online and supporting them in the competitive online operating environment with a wide range of support services.”

“The GAN brand is already a valuable asset and will become increasingly important over time as we continue to expand our market share in the United States and other selected land-based casino markets worldwide,” he added.
