Contagious Gaming has announced that the deadline for it to make a firm offer for pools operator Sportech has been extended to October 9.
As reported by iGaming Business, Sportech last month confirmed it had received a proposal from Contagious regarding a possible recommended offer for the company.
At the time, Sportech said the offer would comprise a majority in cash and the balance in new shares in software developer Contagious.
Despite the original deadline having been set for September 11, Contagious has confirmed that this has now been extended until October 9.
Contagious said that the deadline could be extended further with the consent of both companies, while it also noted there is no certainty it will go ahead with a firm offer.
