A BetWay Sportsbook player has filed a complaint.
The player claimed that he recently deposited £30 and received a matching 100% sportsbook bonus.
He proceeded to increase his balance to £256, before having his balance confiscated due to having an account with BetWay years ago, according to the player.
Unless there are other circumstances at play, such as the player having been barred in the past from the online sportsbook or committing some type of fraud, the player’s balance should not be withheld.
Sportsbook Review will update this report after getting BetWay’s side of the facts.
The online sportsbook was recently upgraded to B-; the company is owned and operated by BetWay Limited. BetWay is licensed by both the Gambling Commission and Malta Gaming Authority.
