A 18Bet Sportsbook player has filed a complaint.
The player has claimed that his account was blocked recently after he attempted a withdrawal for €339.
He has said that his documents are fully in order, but 18Bet has claimed that another player accepted a signup bonus using the same IP address as the player, a charge he denies.
The player has saved transcripts of all his correspondence with 18Bet and has reached out to Sportsbook Review for assistance mediating this complaint.
While IP addresses can be dynamic, meaning that they can be shared between neighborhoods or subdivisions, typically online sportsbooks have other evidence aside from IP address to demonstrate multi-accounting.
Sportsbook Review has inquired with 18Bet on how it has determined that this player is connected to the user that allegedly also received a deposit bonus. All sportsbooks allow only one deposit bonus per household; players that attempt to receive multiple bonuses by creating false accounts run the risk of having their sportsbook winnings confiscated.
