Competition in the daily fantasy sports market continues to heat up with Las Vegas-based iTEAM Network launching five new clients on its platform.
Each site launched in time for the start of the National Football League (NFL) season, with thousands of entrants and nearly $50,000 in prizes already awarded.
iTEAM was founded by former MGM Resorts and Galaxy Entertainment Group veteran Gabe Hunterton alongside marketing specialist Brian Balsbaugh and IT expert Matt Moore.
Its platform offers a turnkey daily fantasy sports solution that claims to eliminate the barriers to entry that new brands may face when trying to establish a presence in the market. It pools players and prize pools, eliminating the need for iTEAM’s partners to invest heavily in marketing to reach critical mass.
iTEAM also handles all customer service, payment processing and technology upgrades, as well as providing marketing support for customer retention and acquisition.
However only two of iTEAM’s five partners have been named: Wagerocity and Amber Gaming, a company predominantly focused on offering poker products.
