Scientific Games Corporation has secured a new contract to supply instant games and related services to the Ohio Lottery.
The new two-year contract comes with four two-year extension options, and was awarded following a competitive procurement process. It includes instant games as well as marketing support, licensed brands and interactive services.
The deal continues the relationship between the two companies which began in 2001.
According to La Fleur’s Almanac, the Ohio Lottery is ranked among the top 15 lotteries worldwide for instant games.
In the 2015 fiscal year the lottery’s instant games enjoyed a record year with sales of $1.5bn, up 8.8 per cent from 2014.
“We look forward to partnering with the Ohio Lottery to drive continued growth of instant games to benefit education in the state,” Scientific Games senior vice president of instant products John Schulz said.
“We will continue to provide a great entertainment value for Ohio players with exciting new instant games like the two $30 games launched in 2015, innovative new play styles, favorite licensed brands, and interactive mobile and internet promotions to complement instant game retail sales.”
