International Game Technology (IGT) has revealed that its IGT Global Solutions Corporation subsidiary, formerly known as GTECH, has developed new mobile player convenience applications for the Rhode Island Lottery and the Tennessee Lottery Corporation.
Individually branded for the Rhode Island and Tennessee lotteries, the apps offer players access to real-time lottery information such as jackpot details, winning numbers, lottery retailer locations and instant games information.
Both apps also feature a ‘Check My Ticket’ function where players can scan both instant tickets and draw tickets with their mobile device to find out if they have won.
The apps are free to downloaded and can be access via Apple’s App Store for iOS devices or the Google Play Store for Android.
Michael Chambrello, chief executive of North America lottery for IGT, said: “As consumers’ reliance on their mobile devices continues to grow, so does IGT’s commitment to innovation in the mobile space.
“The Rhode Island Lottery and the Tennessee Lottery Corporation are long-time IGT customers, and we are confident that their evolution in the mobile space with these convenience apps will help them maximise income for their states and enhance funding for good causes.”
