Winneroo rebrands as Ludos Interactive; eyes B2B opportunities

Online gaming operator Winneroo has changed its corporate name to Ludos Interactive following the acquisition of London-based marketing business Ludos Media and its Winzino casino brand.

Ludos Interactive said that it will support a multi-brand strategy, with Winzino sitting alongside its existing Winneroo brand. The deal also includes the Ludos Affiliates partnership programme.

Winneroo co-founder Jussi Halme said that the company was currently enjoying strong momentum and will soon be in a position to make further announcements about an advisory board and investment round.

“We’re excited to bring Winzino and its existing customer base and revenues under the same company umbrella alongside the Winneroo brand, and changing the business name to Ludos Interactive sets us up perfectly for further website launches and the introduction of a B2B service,” said Halme, who worked for Probability and GTECH G2 prior to co-founding Winneroo in 2012.

Ludos Interactive currently owns the Dragonfish-powered Winneroo real-money bingo site, the Winneroo Prizes free-to-play offering, the Probability-powered mobile casino Winneroo Games, as well as the newly launched Winneroo Vegas, which is powered by Nektan’s Evolve gaming platform.

Its brand portfolio now also includes the Nektan-powered Winzino online casino, as well as the Ludos Affiliates programme, which provides the company with access to existing marketing partnerships and an affiliate tracking platform.
