International Game Technology (IGT) has moved to enhance its service offering by launching a new product to help aid growth in the lottery sector.
Building on IGT’s Enterprise Series system, IGT said the new Aurora solution has been developed to respond to a rapidly-changing market and the need for lotteries to become more agile and offer a greater omnichannel experience.
Benefits of the solution include a new browser and device-independent back-office web user interface, as well as allowing the user to make changes to a game without impacting the customer’s experience when playing during an update.
IGT said the solution extends down to the point of sale, where a framework will offer increased flexibility to deploy applications across a full suite of terminals and devices.
Matthew Whalen, senior vice-president and global chief technology officer at IGT Lottery, said: “Existing customers of IGT legacy systems, including Enterprise Series, can incrementally add key components to reap significant benefits without completely overhauling their current lottery solution.”
