US gaming and lottery supplier Scientific Games Corporation has signed an enterprise-wide agreement to supply the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission (AGLC) with its Bally systems solutions.
The deal sees the supplier provide its systems solutions across the Canadian provincial gaming operator’s 28 casino venues, connecting to more than 14,000 slot machines across the province.
AGLC will utilise a suite of Bally’s software and hardware solutions including the SDS accounting and player tracking and CMP marketing systems, along with the iVIEW DM player interface and Electronic Bonus Solution. This provides all connected casinos with competitive and scalable slot management and marketing systems.
In a joint statement AGLC chief executive Bill Robinson and vice president of lottery and gaming services Niaz Nejad said: “We are excited to embark on this expanded partnership with Scientific Games.
“After a comprehensive RFP process, we selected the innovative Bally systems to replace our existing slot accounting system because we believe these tools will help us offer our players an exciting gaming experience and provide us the necessary information to grow our business,” the pair explained. “We consider this another big step in our progress towards our casino modernization efforts.”
The supplier’s chief revenue officer for gaming Robert Parente commented: “Scientific Games is privileged to be selected by AGLC for their enterprise systems solution provider. Our selection further affirms Scientific Games’ strategic focus and attention to innovation and system technology in the Canadian marketplace.
“These systems solutions further enhance our opportunities to share our massive product portfolio and provide innovative gaming content to players in the region,” Parente continued. “We look forward to continuing a fantastic partnership.”
