The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (NJDGE) has revealed operators in the US state’s online gaming market were able to achieve further year-on-year revenue growth during October.
Online gaming revenue in the month amounted to $12.9 million (€12.1 million), up 35.6% from the $9.5 million collected in October last year and an increase on the $12 million generated by operators in September of this year.
Total online gaming win for the year-to-date stands at £121.6 million, up 17.6% on the $103.4 million posted at the same point last year.
Despite growth within the online gaming sector, the NJDGE noted that the state’s overall gambling market suffered in October, with total gaming win down 1.3% year-on-year to $204.5 million.
The October results mean that New Jersey’s total gaming win for the year-to-date now stands at $2.2 million, a drop of 7.7% on the previous year.
