Lotto24 extends contract with CEO Petra von Strombeck by five years

German online lottery brokerage Lotto24 has reappointed Petra von Strombeck as the company’s CEO for the next five years.

With effect from July 1st 2016, Lotto24’s supervisory board has extended von Strombeck’s contract by five years to the end of June 2021.

She has headed the executive board since May 2012 and has a range of responsibilities including corporate strategy and development, marketing, sales, the B2C and application service provider business fields, investor relations, human resources and organisation, as well as IT strategy, systems, processes and IT operation.

“I am delighted that Petra von Strombeck has agreed to stay on as CEO for a further five years,” said Willi Berchtold, chairman of the supervisory board. “Together with her executive board colleague and all employees, she has done a great job in developing the company.

“Today, Lotto24 is the leading private online lottery broker by far with over 800 thousand customers. This is a fantastic achievement.”

von Strombeck added: “Lotto24 is a company with great potential. We have proven that we can achieve a lot in a short space of time with this company. I’m really looking forward to continuing my work with this team and for this exciting company.”

In addition to von Strombeck, the other member of the executive board is Magnus von Zitzewitz, who is responsible for legal affairs and regulation, finance, accounting, taxes, controlling, compliance, risk management and communication.
