GVC Holdings has appointed Shay Segev, a former executive at Playtech, as its new chief operating officer.
Segev also served as chief operating officer at Playtech and has more recently been working as chief strategy officer with Gala Coral.
Upon his arrival at GVC, Segev will assume responsibility for both strategic and operational direction across the group.
He will also lead the integration of the GVC and bwin.party technology platforms following completion of the company’s recommended merger with the online gaming operator, due to take place in February next year.
GVC expects Segev to join the company, initially on a non-board basis, in March 2016.

“My experience at Playtech and Gala Coral is highly transferable and I am confident will deliver for the enlarged GVC and bwin.party group’s shareholders.”
