Online poker giant PokerStars has released a new free-to-play mobile poker game aimed at casual gamers, which features the operator’s popular Spin & Go tournaments.
Jackpot Poker is a mobile-first social poker game now available on iOS and Android devices, as well as Facebook.
PokerStars said that the game is an “evolution” of its original Facebook app and offers players all of the benefits of free-to-play poker against up to 50,000 other players at any one time.
Jackpot Poker features unique three-handed ‘winner-takes-all’ poker tournaments in a new format that is made specifically for mobile devices and aimed at casual gamers.
It also features PokerStars’ popular Spin & Go tournaments that can turn a small buy-in tournament into a massive prize pool. Players are guaranteed their minimum prize pool, but the spin of the wheel can multiply that prize up to 3,000 times the original value.
“Mobile gamers are going to love the fast-paced poker action that they can only get on the Jackpot Poker app,” said Lloyd Melnick, director of social gaming at PokerStars.
