The Sportech Racing and Digital division of Sportech has agreed a deal to provide a new central betting system and associated technologies to the Tambalang Racecourse in Malaysia.
Owned and operator by the Royal Sabah Turf Club, the horseracing venue will now be able to offer punters a host of new betting services.
Technology that will be installed at the venue includes a new central pari-mutuel betting system as well as 300 WAVE teller-terminals.
“The adoption of new betting technologies from Sportech is key to the Royal Sabah Turf Club’s strategy, including offering new betting opportunities to our players, expanding the distribution of the Turf Club’s racing to off track sites, and delivering fast, accurate customer service at the point of sale,” Royal Sabah Turf Club said in a statement.
Andrew Gaughan, president of Sportech Racing and Digital added: “We expect that our technologies will elevate the overall player experience in Malaysia, and help Royal Sabah Turf Club expand the distribution of their betting products.”
