A Wagerwin Sportsbook (SBR rating F) player has filed a payout complaint.
The player originally had $3,000 removed from his account on August 31st and had his account closed by the online sportsbook.
He has received $2,000 of his balance so far, with the last payment received on November 21st.
The player has been unable to secure a date that he will receive the remainder of his funds. He has repeatedly called and emailed the Costa Rica based online betting site concerning the remaining $1,000.
There has been continued speculation at other gaming discussion websites that Wagerwin is really the reincarnation of defunct no-pay sportsbook BetMayor, the latest report citing an unnamed source, though the allegation was first made by a former employee of BetMayor who is now working at D rated CRSportsBet.
Sportsbook Review has asked Wagerwin for comment on when the player is set to receive his final $1,000.
Aside from the unverified industry speculation, an online sportsbook taking over three months to pay a player $3,000 is a key indicator of a lack of financial solvency, and grounds to be listed on the sportsbook blacklist.
Wagerwin bettors in need of assistance are asked to submit a sportsbook complaint form.
