MarathonBet speaks on recent complaint

marathonbetimage2MarathonBet Sportsbook (SBR rating B+) has addressed the payout complaint filed by a player involving an €11,100 deposit.

A player claimed that after providing a series of his ID documents his account access was turned off, and that he hit a roadblock dealing with MarathonBet’s customer service.

The online sportsbook was quick to address the matter with SBR: MarathonBet claimed that the player’s ID was non-genuine, and based on internal policy the decision was then taken to refund the player’s deposit, and permanently close the betting account.

The player’s refund was docked the fees paid for deposits and withdrawals, and the remaining balance returned to his eWallet account.

To further contest this the player can write the Alderney Gambling Control Commission.
