Rivalo Sportsbook (SBR rating D-) confiscated a balance of $1,370 from a winning bettor.
The player was cryptically told that he had violated the terms and conditions of the online sportsbook, but given no specifics on what his infraction was.
He continues to profess his innocence and maintains that his account was verified. He was asked to send a photo of himself holding his ID and obliged.
The player also claims to have successfully cleared the sportsbook bonus play-through requirement necessary before withdrawal..
It was requesting payment of $685 that sparked an investigation that ultimately led to the closure of his account
Rivalo’s statement on the matter:
Rivalo: “Our security department detected that you violated our terms and conditions, you confirmed the registration. As described for violating the terms and conditions of your account will remain closed. Other information in accordance with our terms and conditions you will find the following link:”
SBR has suggested that the player launch a complaint with the Curacao e-Gaming department.
