Sportsbook Review reported earlier in the week that a BetOwi Sportsbook (SBR rating C-) player filed a payout complaint.
The player requested a $500 withdrawal via bitcoin on February 8, one day after Super Bowl 50.
He was not paid in the time-frame he expected and took issue with a bitcoin payout taking so long in the first place.
Bitcoin allows betting sites to quickly and easily move funds without relying on third-party processors.
The player has since confirmed receiving payment from the online betting site.
BetOwi is a sister sportsbook to SportsBettingOnline.
