A Betfair Sportsbook player has filed a complaint.
The player has claimed that the online betting exchange suspended his account and confiscated his €2,000 balance.
The player has saved a list of all 236 bets made with the betting exchange, and screen captures of his deposits made from his Skrill account.
He has claimed that Betfair accused him of receiving fraudulent funds.
The player has countered this by saying that he has records of all his transactions made from Skrill, and pointed out that his account was verified since 7 January 2015. In addition, the player has VIP status with Skrill for his volume of transactions to merchants, including other online sportsbooks.
SBR has asked Betfair for more information on this complaint.
Betfair is licensed by both the UK Gambling Commission and the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA).
