Gaming Innovation Group (GIG) has made changes to its senior management team as part of a “far-reaching” organisational restructure.
The firm has established a new B2C division, which will comprise Betit Group assets, acquired by GIG in June, of Kaboo, SuperLenny and Thrills.com, as well as GIG brands Guts.com, Betspin and Rizk.com.
In a letter to employees and corporate stakeholders, GIG announced that Thomas Bäckman, former chief executive of Betit, will head up the new business.
GIG also said that Robin Reed, chief executive of the company, will now take on the role as group chief executive, overseeing the firm’s B2B and new B2C arms.
