A 1XBet Sportsbook (SBR rating D-) player has submitted an account complaint.
The player originally tried to request payment for his account balance (€4,100).
He sent his photo ID, passport, and screen captures from his Skrill account. Following providing this set of documents, the sportsbook asked for additional photos showing him holding documents.
Again the player obliged but after providing his selfie with his documents, 1XBet decided to restrict his account. He must now send his documents by post to an address in Russia. The player has agreed to do this, but is upset that throughout this time-frame he has been unable to play with his funds and if the sportsbook would have requested everything at once, he might already be through the Know Your Customer (KYC) process.
SBR has asked the sports betting site to clarify if the player would be reimbursed the cost of mailing the requested documents from his country to Russia.
