US gambling facility operator Greenwood Racing has appointed Eric Hausler, previously of VICI Properties and Capri Casinos, as its new chief executive, effective from 20 January.
Hausler will join Greenwood after a spell as director at VICI Properties, a real estate investment trust that owns various gaming, hospitality and entertainment properties including the Caesars Palace and Harrah’s sites in Las Vegas.
Prior to that, Hausler was chief executive of Isle of Capri Casinos, having also served as chief financial officer, chief strategic officer and senior vice president of strategic initiatives at the operator that is now part of Eldorado Resorts.
Hausler also spent time as senior vice president of development for Trump Entertainment Resorts, as well as in various capacities with investment bank Bear Stearns, Susquehanna Financial Group and Deutsche Bank Securities.
