Nasdaq Stockholm-listed Scout Gaming Group has won a tender to supply its fantasy sports solutions to Norwegian gaming monopoly Norsk Tipping.
The agreement, which Scout expects to boost revenue going forward, will see Norsk Tipping add fantasy contests to its product offering in the first half of 2020.
“To be chosen by state-owned Norsk Tipping after a competitive public procurement process is a fantastic outcome for Scout Gaming and a proof of the innovation and leadership we continue to show in the fields of sports,” Scout’s chief executive Andreas Ternström said.
The tender is the latest to be run by monopoly operator Norsk Tipping, which has recently awarded supply contracts to a number of high-profile industry providers.
Most recently it selected sports betting content provider Sporting Solutions to provide pricing and risk management solutions, having awarded a sportsbook platform contract to Optima, since acquired by Sportradar, in October last year.
In addition, Norsk Tipping last month agreed a deal with Scientific Games for the supply and launch of video lottery terminals at multiple locations across the country.
