Virgin Bet launches £100,000 predictor game with SportCaller

Online gambling operator Virgin Bet has launched a new free-to-play predictor game in partnership with SportCaller, offering customers the chance to win up to £100,000 (€119,672/$129866) each week of the UK football season.

LiveScore6 will challenge players to predict scores from six pre-defined games across each weekend of football fixtures.

Virgin Bet will layer over a scaled points system for each correct result, score for a singular team and match score. Players will score 10 points for every correct result, 30 points for the right score for a singular team and 50 points for a correct score.

In addition, players will score bonus points if they correctly predict multiple correct scores or results, with 150 additional points on offer for three correct scores and 30 extra points allocated for three correct results.

Should a player correctly predict all six scores, they could win the top prize of £100,000. Leaderboards will also run throughout the season, with Virgin Bet to award £1,000 to the top points scorer during the remainder of the 2019-20 campaign, while the weekly table topper will win a £50 free bet.

“One of the biggest challenges facing the UK betting market is acquiring new customers and we believe SportCaller’s innovative approach to free-to-play products will give us a real advantage,” Virgin Bet, LiveScore and Roxor Gaming marketing director, Richard Leask, said.

“As a relative newcomer to the market, it is a very exciting time for us and we are looking forward to a long and fruitful partnership with SportCaller.”

SportCaller managing director Cillian Barry added: “Our free-to-play games have consistently proven to be a valuable acquisition and retention tool and we are delighted to take a classic predictor product and give it the added boost of a £100,000 jackpot for any player who manages to pick six correct scores.”
