PointsBet has launched mobile sports betting in the state of Indiana after it secured approval from the state’s Gaming Commission.
The operator will be active in the state via its PointsBet Indiana subsidiary, with consumers able to place a wide range of sports wagers via its mobile platform.
The launch means PointsBet is now active in three US states, with the operator also offering sports betting in New Jersey and Iowa.
“The PointsBet team is excited to share that we are now officially live in Indiana – our third state of operation – where we look forward to providing the sports-loving community in the Hoosier State with the fastest, premium sports betting product they deserve,” PointsBet US chief executive Johnny Aitken said.
PointsBet has plans in place to further expand its presence in the US, having recently signed an exclusive primary skin agreement with Kansas Crossing Casino. The deal will allow PointsBet to provide both retail and online sports wagering in the state, contingent upon obtaining a license.
In addition, PointsBet has secured a deal with the Double Eagle Casino in Cripple Creek, Colorado. Last month, the casino was awarded a master license to offer sports betting in the state.
