Online casino platform provider SkillOnNet has joined forces with data science specialist Neccton to roll out a new safer gambling tool across all of its brands as part of an effort to help protect players from gambling-related harms.
Developed by Neccton in collaboration withbehavioural scientists and psychologists, Mentor tracks player data, detects risk patterns, changes in behaviour and flags any signs of problem gambling.
If a customer is flagged as being at risk, they will be given personal feedback and tailored communications to prevent harm.
SkillOnNet brands that will now feature the tool include the likes of PlayOJO, AHTI Games, Slingo, Lucky Vegas, Royal Bet and SlotsMagic.
“Safer Gambling is one of the most important aspects of operating an online casino markets and although already very advanced in this area using in-house tools, we are proud to be among the first to adopt and launch innovative technologies,” SkillOnNet’s head of compliance Andy Andrew said.
“This ensures that players who show signs of risk via customer interaction receive the best possible advice and practical help.”
Neccton director Dr Micahel Auer added: “Academic research is at the core of our work. Over the last ten years we have published more studies than anybody else in the area of player tracking and responsible gaming.
“We have shown what works and what does not work and are constantly improving our solution based on academic evidence and best practice.”
