The $2,250,000 prizepool was the largest yet as the high-rollers battle it out in the Russian Black Sea resort, with 45 entries and 7 places paid – the Greenwood brothers Sam and Luc making the second day final table of in-the-money players.

Badziakouski came back as chip leader with 39 big blinds, and at the other end of the spectrum were Wiktor Malinowski and Sam Greenwood, with the Polish pro busting on only the second hand of play, falling to Artur Martirosyan’s big slick.
Greenwood’s luck was a little better, disposing of Cary Katz in 6th when a race went the Canadian’s way, but back-to-back hands saw him hit the rail next – Badziakouski’s pocket kings doing most of the damage.
The pace of the knockouts was frightening, Aaron van Blarcum exiting in 4th, this time Badziakouski holding the ace-king, and then Luc Greenwood fell in 3rd to Martirosyan.
