Betgenius nets sportsbook content partnership with 888

OPAP and Betgenius enter landmark digital sportsbook partnershipOnline gaming operator 888 Holdings has partnered Genius Sports Group’s Betgenius to launch pre-match and in-play content for its 888sport betting brand in multiple markets.

The agreement will see Betgenius provide data and pricing services across a range of sports. This will see the supplier provide pricing for sports such as football, tennis, basketball and volleyball, including official data for over 300 competitions.

It will also integrate its automated accumulator product BetBuilder into 888sport’s offering.

The deal comes as 888 prepares to migrate its sportsbook offering to the BetBright platform acquired in a £15m deal in March 2019.

“As 888 takes further control of its sportsbook with the move to a new platform, offering the right content and trading strategy is a huge opportunity to differentiate in every market,” Genius Sports Group chief commercial officer Jack Davison said.

“It’s testament to the quality of official data and flexible technology that 888 has selected Betgenius to be part of that journey.”

Guy Cohen, 888 senior vice president and head of B2C, added that the operator was “delighted” to partner Betgenius.

Cohen said the supplier’s technology would enhance its sportsbook offering through “high quality and wide-ranging in-play and pre-match data and content”.

“We look forward to developing our relationship in the coming months,” he added.
