William Hill sees marginal DC betting revenue growth in November

Both William Hill’s sportsbook at Washington DC’s Capital One Arena and the DC Lottery’s Gambet app saw stakes dip – though revenue increase – in November.

Handle for William Hill’s temporary facility was down 4.6% from October’s total, at $13.7m (£10.1m/€11.2m), though prizes and payouts also declined, to $11.0m.

This takes amounts wagered via the location to $49.4m since it opened in July this year, with players winning $41.2m, for revenue of $8.2m. Washington DC has generated tax revenue of $817,870.67 from William Hill over this period.

It also left the operator further ahead of the Intralot-powered DC Lottery’s Gambet app, which much like William Hill, reported a month-over-month decline in amounts wagered, but a marginal increase in revenue, for November.
