The International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) has announced online horse racing and sports betting brand ZEturf Group as its latest member.
The operator will join a network of other brands from around the world in feeding into the IBIA’s global betting integrity monitoring and alert network.
IBIA members account for over $137.0bn (£115.2bn/€133.4bn) in global betting turnover per annum and almost 50% of all regulated commercial operator online betting activity.
Founded in 2001, ZEturf operates via its ZEturf and ZEbet brands, with licences in Malta, France, Belgium, Spain, Nigeria and the Netherlands.
Last week, it was announced that French national lottery operator Française des Jeux (FDJ) has agreed to acquire ZEturf for €150.0m.
“The integrity of sports and especially those we offer bets on is key for offering a solid betting product,” ZEturf managing director Paul Klomp said. “With our experiences in the industry for many years we are convinced that we can add value to the association.”
IBIA chief executive Khalid Ali added: “The operator expands IBIA’s international coverage of regulated horseracing and sports betting markets and reinforces the association’s place as the leading betting integrity monitor.
“ZEturf brings a distinct operational approach and coverage that will bolster IBIA’s global monitoring and alert network.”
The announcement comes after the IBIA earlier this month also revealed Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment as a new member.
