Bookmaker Ladbrokes has confirmed to iGaming Business that Jonathan Adelman has stepped down as general counsel and company secretary with immediate effect.
Adelman first joined the bookmaker in August 2008 after a spell as vice-president and senior counsel of hotel and resorts chain Hilton.
During his time at Ladbrokes, Adelman oversaw the successful reduction of the firm’s legal panel by over half to 22 firms, as well as extending appointment terms from two to four years.
Annabel Bannerman will take over as general counsel having previously served as Adelman’s deputy.
Adrian Bushnell, who joined Ladbrokes as head of secretariat in January of this year, will now assume the company secretary role.
