Sky Betting and Gaming, the online gaming subsidiary of UK pay-television broadcaster BSkyB, has announced the launch of a new marketing campaign.
Under the slogan ‘Are You In?’ the promotional campaign, which will cover all media platforms, will offer exclusive rewards, offers and access to Sky Sports experts.
According to Sky Bet, the new marketing effort “marks a shift in strategy” for the service, with the campaign aiming to retain the customer base and drive up revenues, rather than focusing solely on customer acquisition.
Sky Sports presenters Jim White and Natalie Sawyer will be the faces of the campaign from the new Sky Bet Studio, where punters will be given the latest Sky Bet news, offers and products.
The launch coincides with the start of the English Football League season on August 4 and will include a revamped customer loyalty proposition called the ‘Sky Bet Club’ and a new initiative focused on Sky Bet’s sponsorship of the Football League called the ‘Sky Bet Transfer Fund’.
Sky Bet has worked with mcgarrybowen to create the brand’s first integrated campaign since 2011.
“Upon joining Sky Bet last year it was clear the unique opportunity the brand has to give customers above and beyond what our competitors can,” Sky Bet marketing director Rob Painter said.
“The new strategy and ‘Are you in?’ campaign from mcgarrybowen are part of a new direction for the business and I’m excited about where it can go from here.”
