Bingo.com has launched a mobile version of its online casino which it hopes will boost the company’s European business. The Unibet-powered offering is available in multiple languages and currencies and is described by Bingo.com chief executive Jason Williams as “an important step forward for the company”.
“With our products, banking and support available to all handheld devices we’re now able to market in a full range of channels to potential players irrespective of their preferred platform,” said Williams.
“Our goal is to leverage our mobile casino and the increased reach of our brand to return Bingo.com’s gambling business to growth.”
The release of the mobile casino follows the publication of Bingo.com’s second quarter results last week, which showed a 12 per cent year-on-year fall in gaming revenue to just to $426,921.
The company attributed the decline to its decision to reduce marketing spend ahead of the launch of the mobile casino, and its soon to launch social casino offering Trophy Bingo, which was originally scheduled for launch in the first quarter of 2014.
