The Swedish gaming authorities have imposed a reprimand and penalty fee on Betway for unauthorised bonus offers.

Betway used a marketing campaign of 200 per cent match bonus and players have been able to take advantage of a bonus more than once, said a statement from the Swedish Gaming Inspectorate.
There were, however, “mitigating circumstances,” notably that the violation took place over a short period of time and Betway took immediate corrective measures. A sanction fee of SEK100,000 (€9,745) was imposed.
