Digital sports media company Perform Group has named Dirk Ifsen as its new managing director for Germany.
Ifsen will assume the role after having been promoted from his previous position as managing director of Perform’s sports data company Opta in Germany.
In addition to overseeing operations in Germany, Ifsen will also assume responsibility for Perform in Austria and Switzerland.
Ifsen fills the role vacated by Manuel Lopez, who opted to exit the company in March in order to pursue new opportunities.
Elsewhere, sportsbook platform provider FSB Technology has appointed Richard Thorp as its new business development director.
In his new role, Thorp will manage FSB Technology’s commercial efforts and sales pipeline.
Prior to taking the position at FSB Technology, Thorp held other senior roles at the likes of the Racing Post, Better Bet and Blue Square.
Meanwhile, Satellite Information Services (SIS), a provider of end-to-end products and services to the betting and broadcast industries, has also moved to boost its services by appointing Paul Witten as its new commercial director.
Witten, who will join SIS from Germany lottery business Tipp24, will be tasked with enhancing the SIS betting sales and marketing team as well as achieving various growth initiatives and enhancing the firm’s core video and data into retail betting products.
Prior to joining SIS, Witten served as an executive at both Ladbrokes and Betfair.
