Foreign exchange and contracts for difference trading provider Markets.com has entered into a partnership with English Premier League top-tier football club Arsenal.
Under the deal, the terms of which were not disclosed, Markets.com will become the club’s official forex, CFD and binary trading partner.
Markets.com will activate the partnership in various territories with a particular focus on the Asian Market, where the club has established a strong following through recent pre-season tours and digital fan engagement.
In addition, Arsenal and Markets.com will develop various cross-promotional and marketing activities while Markets.com will also have access to match-day hospitality at the club’s Emirates Stadium.
“Partnering with Arsenal at this point in time is extremely exciting as we are focused on expanding throughout Asia and specifically in China, where Arsenal has such a large and growing fan base,” Markets.com’s director of business development, Asia-Pacific, Francisco Rodriguez, said.
Arsenal chief commercial officer Vinai Venkatesham added: “Asia is a key growth market for the club in which our fan base continues to grow rapidly, and we look forward to working closely with Markets.com in this region in particular.”
