Cyberworld Studios is to enter the online social gaming market as it looks to increase its product portfolio.
The US video and mobile games and app developer said that it would look to create content partnerships with various gambling stakeholders in order to maximise player engagement and extend coverage.
Cyberworld said that its new games will have various social features, with emphasis on access to chat rooms, connecting with other users, search functions and sending likes. Cyberworld, whose existing games include Actua Poker and Gem Smashers, is the primary operating subsidiary of Salt Lake City-based Direct Equity International.
Macleans Geo-Jaja, Cyberworld’s chief executive, said: “We hope to bring real-time legal gambling to our customers in a way that will provide them an inviting, social setting that will be easily accessible and exciting.
“We hope to pair the excitement of Vegas casino’s with the fun of competing with friends and making new friends.”
