Swedish operator Spiffbet has announced the appointment of Cecilia Skarin as its acting chief financial officer.
Skarin will move into the role with effect from 1 April and replace current CFO Jens Bruno.
She joined Spiffbet in February 2020 and has served as head of finance, with responsibility for financial elements such as current accounting, salaries, tax returns, financial statements with annual reports and acquisition analyses.
Prior to this, Skarin was also finance manager for the Destroy Rebuilding Company for five months and had a short spell as temporary finance manager at Swedish Fitness Trading.
Her other roles included more than four-and-a-half years as finance manager for Vaimo, while she also held the same position for a similar period of time at Sängvaruhuset from December 2009 to June 2014.
The appointment comes after Spiffbet last month reported revenue of SEK95.4m in its full year 2021 results, almost five times the revenue recorded in 2020, as it prepares to focus more on B2B services.
Looking ahead to 2022 Spiffbet noted that it would place greater emphasis on its gaming distribution platform Rhino Gaming, which it acquired in June 2021.
