Greek development studio Vermantia has announced the launch of Candylicious, the first game to be rolled out under its agreement with Gibraltar-based platform provider Odobo. Candylicious is a HTML5 multi-level instant win game which offers an innovative L shape instant game format where players scale a magical sweet mountain by revealing hidden candies on six rows, layer-by-layer.
Vermantia games director Richard Clarke said: “Vermantia is always looking to create unique games and deliver them to the widest possible audience. Via the Odobo Marketplace, we have access to new operators and more players on mobile, tablet and desktop.
“We are very happy to start this Odobo partnership with Candylicious while there are more instant win games to follow.”
The game sees players select one of 12 lucky candies at the beginning of each new level to match with the hidden sweets. With each success they are given the choice to take their winnings or to take a gamble to continue onto the next stage.
Each new row reduces the chance to match the chosen symbol by removing one square from the row. While each new row offers a smaller chance of success, the cash reward for winning continues to go up. A new pay table kicks in on each new level and the longer a player holds out, the more chance they have of earning one of the five baking achievements.
The game also offers multiple bonus games for more chances to win. If a player does not make it to the next level, they are offered a second chance free spin on a 3×3 slot game. Matching three symbols returns them to their place in the previous game and restores their winnings. One wild candy awaits discovery and a golden candy can appear at any time to trigger the bonus scratch card mini-game.
