Online payment processor Secure Trading has appointed three new executives to its senior management team as it looks to expand in the iGaming sector. The trio were appointed to work under the company’s chief commercial officer Jens Bader, with Mark Bell hired as head of gaming and FX markets; Bryan Blake joining as head of gaming and FX Europe and emerging markets; and Paul Gent taking on the role of marketing director.
Bell joins from Worldplay, where he worked on business development for iGaming and FX markets in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). He has been tasked with creating and implementing the company’s sales strategy for the global gaming industry, communicating Secure Trading’s merchant proposition and leveraging the company’s experience to gain a competitive advantage in the market.
In his new role Bell will work alongside his former Worldpay colleague Blake, who served as head of gaming for the EMEA region. Blake will focus predominantly on emerging markets, as well as taking charge of evolving the Secure Trading product and service offering.
The final appointment, Gent, brings more than 20 years’ experience in B2B marketing to the company. Over the past eight years he has worked for payments solutions providers such as Optimal Payments and First Data. He has been tasked with developing Secure Trading’s on- and offline marketing strategy across all business verticals.
“Kick starting the year with a great new team is extremely exciting for Secure Trading,” Bader said of the new appointments. “As a company we know we have a really valuable proposition for the gaming community and we will have more good news to share in the next few weeks that will further strengthen our service offering. “
“As for the rest of 2015, I’m very proud to have a group of hard working and talented individuals driving our business and we look forward to the successes along the way,” he added.
The trio join Secure Trading’s other senior executives including chief executive Kobus Paulsen, sales director David Backshall, and channel and product director Michael Lane. The company currently works with high profile operators such as PokerStars, bwin.party and Sportech.
