Social gaming company Zynga has announced it is to drop six more titles next month as part of a move to focus its efforts on upcoming games.
As reported by iGaming Business, Zynga earlier this month said it was to end a real-money gaming partnership with bwin.party in a move that confirmed the closure of the ZyngaPlus casino and poker products.
The social gaming firm has now confirmed that a further six titles will be shut down in April to allow its team to focus more on new games that will soon be introduced into the market.
Products due to close next month comprise Zynga Slots, Pioneer Trail, Duck Dynasty Slots, Riches of Olympus, Ayakashi: Ghost Guild and FarmVillage, the latter of which was only released by Zynga China late last year.
In a post on the Zynga Slots Facebook page, the social gaming outfit confirmed that the game would close on April 30.
“We don’t take the decision to sunset our games lightly but we made the tough decision to close these games so our team of game makers can put their passion, energy and time into developing other content for you,” Zynga said in the post.
