Toronto-listed gaming software supplier NYX Gaming Group has launched a revamped version of its NYX Poker product with its Open Games Server (OGS) casino platform integrated into the client. The integration of OGS into NYX Poker, formerly the Ongame Poker Network, allows customers to launch casino games within the product, giving the opportunity for greater cross-sell between the verticals.
Operators can pick games from NYX’s wide array of proprietary and third-party content, with players able to play multiple titles at the same time without leaving the client.
The new solution has launched initially for dot.com markets, with other local territories to follow.
NYX executive vice president of business development David Flynn said that NYX was looking to keep adding value to the recently-acquired Ongame product and the company’s overall footprint.
“Operators are now able to offer our award-winning casino titles to their poker players and let players play one or more games at the same time,” he said. “We know that a lot of players will appreciate this addition and that it will be a positive revenue driver for our business partners.
“We have worked hard on this integration with a focus on minimizing the work needed for our partners. We offer our entire game portfolio through existing integrations and are really proud of how fast and efficiently we bring this to the market.”
Betsson will be among the first to launch the new product for its Betsson and Betsafe brands.
The operator’s head of poker Chris Hirst said that he was excited about the cross-sell opportunity for its brands, and said that players would appreciate the addition.
“With casino in poker, NYX has handled all the work on their side with no addition effort for us and we look forward to seeing the results,” Hirst explained.
