International Game Technology (IGT) has announced that its GTECH subsidiary has signed a seven-year extension to its contract with the Wisconsin Lottery.
Under the agreement, GTECH will continue to provide the Lottery with bundled solutions and services.
The deal includes the provision of a new draw-based and instant-ticket lottery system, full-service lottery terminals, self-service and multimedia products, instant-ticket printing, warehousing, distribution, and telemarketing, as well as a communications network.
Following the contract execution and a 15-month conversion period, IGT and GTECH will provide the Lottery with the latest version of the Enterprise Series solution.
IGT and GTECH will also replace the Lottery’s existing terminal base with the Altura GT1200 sales platform.
Other products covered by the new deal include the Gemini Ultra Instant Ticket Vending Machine and ES MultiMedia displays, as well as the Ticket-Scan Plus self-service ticket checker.
Michael Chambrello, chief executive of North America Lottery at IGT, said: “The Wisconsin Lottery has achieved five consecutive years of increased sales and has made tremendous contributions to property tax relief in Wisconsin.
“We believe that this contract demonstrates our commitment to the Wisconsin Lottery and the citizens they serve.”
