Forex trader GKFX has entered into a commercial partnership with Italian Serie A top-tier football club AC Milan.
The deal will run for three years, from the 2015-16 season through to the end of the 2017-18 campaign.
Under the agreement, GKFX will serve as the official online FX partner of AC Milan and benefit from an extensive range of marketing and promotional rights in association with the club.
These rights will include a presence on the club’s website and digital channels, as well as LED perimeter advertising and a hospitality allocation at the team’s San Siro home stadium.
“Attracting the interest of companies operating internationally and in sectors not traditionally linked with football means that our brand is strong and chosen for its positive values and perception,” AC Milan commercial director Jaap Kalma said.
Serkan Arli, group chief executive of GKFX, added: “Our partnership clearly emphasises the synergies between football, foreign exchange trading and investment, where preparation and precision execution are the keys to long term winning.
“We plan to continuously celebrate our partnership with AC Milan, a significant and historical football club, with a global and incredibly loyal fan base, by delivering a number of key initiatives over the coming months.
“I am confident that this strong partnership will result in a bright success, enhancing both our brands and presence in respective markets.”
