Online and mobile betting platform TwinSpires has agreed a multi-year deal to become an official partner of US horseracing event the Breeders’ Cup.
Under the agreement, the length of which was undisclosed, TwinSpires will serve as the official wagering partner of the event and title sponsor the $1.5 million Breeders’ Cup Sprint race.
TwinSpires will also receive exposure through a package of television, digital and print media benefits.
In addition, TwinSpires will serve as the presenting partner of the Morning Line at the Breeders’ Cup Post-Position Draw on October 26, prior to the main event on October 30 and 31.
“The Breeders Cup Championship races are amongst the best racing content on the planet and it’s a natural fit for us to be the official wagering partner,” TwinSpires’ vice-president for marketing Ian William said.
Craig Fravel, president and chief executive of the Dreeders’ Cup, added: “The high quality and standards of brand excellence and popularity of TwinSpires for its wagering customers are a perfect fit for our championships.”
