The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (NJDGE) has reported that the US state’s online gaming market experienced further growth in July, with revenue up on both a year-on-year and month-on-month basis.
Online gaming revenue in July amounted to $12.5 million (€11.2 million), which represents an increase of 24.4% on the $10.1 million posted in the same month last year, as well as a jump on the $11.7 million achieved in June of this year.
Total online gaming win for the year-to-date now stands at $84.5 million, up 15.6% on the $73.1 million that was recorded at the same point on 2015.
Borgata, PartyPoker and Pala Interactive remain out in front in terms of the most successful online operator in the state, with revenue of $3.8 million in July, up from $3.2 million last year.
All other operators also experienced some sort of revenue growth in the month, apart from Caesars Interactive, which suffered a slight decrease in online gaming win.
Total gaming win for New Jersey, comprising online and land-based activities, amounted to $257.5 million in July, up 8.1% from $238.3 million last year.
For the year to date, the state’s total gaming win stands at $1.5 billion, down 9.4% in the $1.6 billion posted last year.
However, taking into account operations that have been discontinued in that time, this July’s figure instead represents year-on-year growth of 4.8%.
