Canadian provincial lottery operator Loto‑Québec has expanded its online offering with the launch of a new digital version of one of Québec’s most popular instant lottery games over the past 15 years.
Mots cachés becomes the latest game to be deployed online, with more than twenty instant lottery games now available through the company’s Espacejeux.com online portal.
The instant lottery games are available online at the same cost as the original scratch ticket version, with the same odds of winning and prizes to be won.
“Adding Mots cachés to our online game offering is in line with Loto‑Québec’s plan to adapt its commercialization tools and communications to consumer trends,” said Simon Patenaude, president of Lottery Operations at Loto‑Québec. “Our 21 Expérience games place us among the pioneers of this niche in North America.”
Expérience games, including well‑known brands Monopoly and Battleship, allow players to have fun with simple and easily accessible interactive games. They are also available on mobile, offering players prizes of up to CAD$750,000.
Mots cachés can be played one letter at a time, similarly to its scratch version, or in automatic mode, where letters are identified automatically. It costs between $2 and $5 to play and offers a grand prize of $10,000 and $40,000.
