A 18Bet Sportsbook manager has addressed the complaint reported this Saturday concerning a disputed €339 balance.
A player claimed that his account was blocked after he put in a withdrawal request.
He maintained that his documents were fully in order, but that he was accused of having another player share his IP address.
The online sportsbook produced evidence showing discrepancies with the player’s story and submitted evidence that appears to show that the player is connected in multiple ways to more than a dozen other accounts, all who received the same sportsbook bonus.
Unlike the type of confiscations SBR alluded to where players lose their bonus winnings because of being “non recreational”, this appears to be the other variety where a troublemaker attempts to one-up a sportsbook by trying to redeem the same bonus several times using what is referred to as “gnomes”.
18Bet cited their terms and conditions pertaining to duplicate accounts. The sportsbook opted not to close the player’s account, but cautions that he is unable to redeem bonuses in the future.
